Pan fry: beans, other grain, cilantro, bacon, and kale
This could be soup, but we’ve got other plans.
The combination of beans, kale, and other grain will get you started for protein, veggies, and carbs. Cilantro and bacon are added for flavor and character.
You might want to combine the ingredients into a single meal — on a sheet pan or in a crock pot, for example — or separate them into multiple dishes. Whatever you decide, we suggest you pan fry at least one of the dishes.

Note that for the “other grains†we’re going with whole wheat tortillas, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Heck, it shouldn’t bother anyone if you used plain old white flour tortillas.
